JAMB UTME Subject Combination

In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Computer with Statistics under the Faculty of Sciences in the institutions listed above are:

Maths, Physics and any one of Chemistry, Economics and Biology

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) FUTMINNA require Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

(ii) UNIPORT do not accept Agric. Science, Economics and Geography.

O’Level Requirements for UTME Candidates

To apply for Computer with Statistics as a UTME candidate, you require: Five SSCE credits in English Language , Mathematics and any three of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Further Maths, and Technical Drawing.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) FUTMINNA requires credit pass in Physics.

(ii) CRESCENT requires credit pass in Islamic Religious Knowledge in place of Chemistry for candidates wishing to study Computer Science with Islamic Studies.

Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates

To apply for Computer with Statistics as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: Two ‘A’ level passes in Maths and Physics

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) FUTMINNA and ADSU accept National Diploma in Computer Studies or Computer Engineering with at least Upper Credit.

(ii) UNIPORT – No Direct Entry

(iii) FUTMINNA requires a pass in English Language.
