In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Electrical / Electronics Education under the Faculty of Education in the institutions listed above are:

O’Level Requirements for UTME Candidates

To apply for Electrical / Electronics Education as a UTME candidate, you require: Five SSCE credit passes to include Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English Language and any other Science subject.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) BASU:
(a) Requires credit passes in English Language, Mathematics/ Arithmetic, Physics/General Sciences/ Electrical Electronics Trades and any other two relevant Science subjects.
(b) Accepts credit pass in Arithmetic or General Science or Technical Trades in lieu of Mathematics or Biology or Physics respectively.

(ii) BASU requires Mathematics, Physics and any other Science subject.

Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates

To apply for Electrical / Electronics Education as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: Two ‘A’ level passes in Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) BASU accepts:
(a) NCE (merit) in Electrical/Electronic Education, Sciences. NCE (pass) in Electrical/Electronic Education with at least five years teaching experience.
(b) ND (Lower credit) in Electrical/Electronic.
(c) A’ level passes at credit level in Mathematics and Physics.
