In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Fisheries and Aquaculture under the Faculty of Sciences in the institutions listed above are:
Biology, Chemistry and Physics or Maths
O’Level Requirements for UTME Candidates
To apply for Fisheries and Aquaculture as a UTME candidate, you require: Five SSCE credits to include English, Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and any other Science subject
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) CRESCENT requires five (5) O’ level credits including Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science, Mathematics, English Language, Geography and at least pass in Physics.
Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates
To apply for Fisheries and Aquaculture as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: Two ‘A’ level passes in Biology and Chemistry
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) CRESCENT accepts
(a) Candidates with two ‘A’ Level passes at the advanced level in one or more relevant subjects Biology, Botany, Chemistry, Geography, Mathematics and Physics.
(b) IJMB at acceptable grades.
(c) ND, HND with at least lower credit may be admitted to the appropriate level.
