JAMB Brochure for Fisheries and Aquaculture Under Faculty of Sciences

This part of the JAMB brochure shows you the requirements to apply for Fisheries and Aquaculture under the Faculty of Sciences in Nigeria. You will see the UTME subject combination needed to apply for the course, O’level requirements for UTME candidates, requirements such A’level, ND, HND, NCE, etc for Direct Entry candidates, as well as other information you require to successfully apply for the course.

JAMB UTME Subject Combination

In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Fisheries and Aquaculture under the Faculty of Sciences in the institutions listed above are:

Biology, Chemistry and Physics or Maths

O’Level Requirements for UTME Candidates

To apply for Fisheries and Aquaculture as a UTME candidate, you require: Five SSCE credits to include English, Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and any other Science subject

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) CRESCENT requires five (5) O’ level credits including Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science, Mathematics, English Language, Geography and at least pass in Physics.

Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates

To apply for Fisheries and Aquaculture as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: Two ‘A’ level passes in Biology and Chemistry

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) CRESCENT accepts
(a) Candidates with two ‘A’ Level passes at the advanced level in one or more relevant subjects Biology, Botany, Chemistry, Geography, Mathematics and Physics.
(b) IJMB at acceptable grades.
(c) ND, HND with at least lower credit may be admitted to the appropriate level.
