JAMB UTME Subject Combination
In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Leisure And Tourism management under the Faculty of Social and Management Sciences in the institutions listed above are:
O’Level Requirements for UTME Candidates
To apply for Leisure And Tourism management as a UTME candidate, you require: English Language, Geography, a Basic Science subject and two other subjects from:
Book Keeping Principles of Accounting,
Food and Nutrition,
Home Economics A credit pass in Mathematics is compulsory.
Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates
To apply for Leisure And Tourism management as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: (i) FCWM requires credit passes in English Language, Geography/Government, Economics and Mathematics.
(ii) YABATECH requires credit in Mathematics, Eng. Lang and Geography. It requires as UTME subjects geography and one of Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology/Agricultural Science.
(iii) RIVCAS same as in Computer Science.
(iv) KAD-POLY requires Mathematics, Geography and any one from Biology/Agricultural Science, History, Government or Economics as UTME subjects.
(v) EDEPOLY requires five credit passes in English Language Mathematics, Economics, Geography and any one of the following, History, Biology/Agric, Food and Nutrition, Chemistry, Physics, and French.
(vi) BAUCHIPOLY The minimum entry requirement into the National Diploma in Leisure and Tourism Management is four credit level passes in the O’ Level in not more than two sittings. The subjects must include English Language and Geography, and any two from the following: History and Geography, and any two of History, Economics, Government, Mathematics, Biology, Food and Nutrition and French.
(vii) MAPOLY requires four credits at one sitting or five credits at not more than two sittings to include English Language and Geography with Mathematics with at least a pass in Mathematics
