In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Teacher Education Science under the Faculty of Education in the institutions listed above are:

Mathematics and any two other Science Subjects.

O’Level Requirements for UTME Candidates

To apply for Teacher Education Science as a UTME candidate, you require: Five SSCE credits to include Statistics and Mathematics.

Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates

To apply for Teacher Education Science as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: Passes at NCE or GCE ‘A’ level including Statistics or Mathematics

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) UI requires credit in Mathematics.

(ii) UI requires five ‘O’ level credits at one sitting to include English Language and other subjects from Science, Social Science or Arts.
