All prospective Nigerian university students, irrespective of the course or department they are vying for, must have obtained a credit level pass in five relevant subjects in any of the recognized O’level examinations: WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, and so on. For the science students proper, it is required that they possess a minimum of 5 O’level credit level passes in the following subjects: English language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Note that some science courses accept Agricultural Science in place of Biology.

Hint: You must credit the required courses in not more than two sittings. The implication of this is that you cannot combine more than two O’level results. Note however, that Medical science faculties in some federal schools like UNN do not allow for combination of results. They insist that you must make your results in one sitting.
