Adamawa State Scholarship Trust Fund 2023: How to Apply

The Adamawa State Scholarship Trust Fund has announced the release of Adamawa State Scholarship Form 2023. So the Adamawa state scholarship portal is now open for students to apply for Scholarship program. However, the applicants must be of Adamawa state origin and must meet other requirements as you will see on this page.

Eligibility for Adamawa State Scholarship

The following are the eligibility criteria for candidates who wish to apply for the Adamawa State scholarship.

1. An applicant must be a bonafide indigene of Adamawa State.
2. The applicant must also be currently studying in an institution of higher learning. Such institution must be recognised by the Nigerian Government both within or outside Nigeria as the case may be.
3. An Applicant must apply online via the Adamawa State Scholarship Portal: www.asstfy.ad.gov.ng. They must complete the appropriate form online.
4. In filling the form, the applicant must use his/her most recent passport size colour photograph.
5. A blind spot or weak network area to use the offline mode of application in the same portal.
6. An Applicant must be a new intake and must also fall in the one of four categories below:
   • • NCE 1
     • ND 1
     • HND 1
     • 100 level, or (200 level DE only)
7. Applicant should not replicate his/her previous application if any.

Adamawa State Scholarship Portal: How to Apply

To successfully apply for Adamawa state scholarship on the application portal you must take note of the following instructions.

• Ensure that both the email address and phone contacts you intend to use for this application are valid and active. This is so very important as they are channels for feedback and sending of Acknowledgement Slips.
• Your passport photo must be less than a megabyte before you can upload it on the form.
• When applying for a scholarship from any Tertiary institution in Nigerian, select Local Scholarship.
• Under the Filed/Category of Application, select the EDUCATION option from the list.
• When applying for a foreign University ( e.g India or other nations), make sure you select Overseas Scholarship, else you won’t be considered for that.

Note: This Government Scholarship is strictly for the unemployed.

Adamawa State Scholarship Form: Application Procedures

Here are the application procedures for the Adamawa State Scholarship Trust Fund;

1. Open the web portal address; asstfy.ad.gov.ng
2. Choose the Create An Account link from the Log In (a box by the left side of the window).
3.  Fill in the electronic form to register on the website.
   • Note: Write the username and password you registered with. You will need them to log in and fill out the Scholarship Form.
4. Click on the Register button to complete the registration on the website.
5. Enter the Username and Password you used in registering, then click the login button.
6. Go to the SCHOLARSHIP menu and choose LOCAL/ INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP
7. Click on ADD RESUME button
8. Fill in the form and finally click on Save and Close, when complete.
   • Note: Make sure you check every detail before saving and applying for the scholarship because any application made can not be corrected later.
9. Select NEWEST JOB
10. Click on APPLY NOW under the Local/International Scholarship section
11. Click on APPLY NOW again from the Pop-up dialogue box and close it when complete
12. When you are through, click on Log Out by the right, to close your portal application page.
13. Click on the HOME Menu to refresh the page when complete.

Deadline for Adamawa State Scholarship Application

The date for closing the Adamawa State Scholarship Application Portal has not been announced. So the offer is valid while the portal is still open.
