JAMB Brochure for Agricultural and Environmental Engineering. This part of the JAMB brochure shows you the requirements to apply for Agricultural and Environmental Engineering under the Faculty of Engineering, Environment and Technology in Nigeria. You will see the UTME subject combination needed to apply for the course, O’level requirements for UTME candidates, requirements such A’level, ND, HND, NCE, etc for Direct Entry candidates, as well as other information you require to successfully apply for the course.

JAMB Subject Combination for Agricultural and Environmental Engineering

In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Agricultural and Environmental Engineering under the Faculty of Engineering, Environment and Technology in the institutions listed above are: Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics.

O’Level Requirements for UTME Candidates

To apply for Agricultural and Environmental Engineering as a UTME candidate, you require: A’ level passes or equivalent in Physics and Mathematics.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks (JAMB Brochure for Agricultural and Environmental Engineering)

(i) UI accept ND/HND at upper credit level.

(ii) MAUTECH accept GCE `A’ Level credit passes in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry or equivalent.

(iii) UI accepts 2 ‘A’ level passes in Physics and Mathematics plus UTME requirements. Accepts also ND/HND at upper credit level {65%} accepted to 200/300 Upper levels respectively plus UTME requirements. Knowledge of Further Mathematics is an advantage for all Engineering Courses.

(iv) NDU accepts:

a. At least three (3) ‘A’ level passes at GCE or its equivalent in Physics, Mathematics/Further Mathematics and Chemistry. And Five (5) credit level passes at SSCE/NECO/GCE ‘O’ level including English Language, Mathematics/Further Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Admission should be to 200 level of study in a five year degree programme.

b. National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) at Upper Credit and above, in the relevant discipline from an approved Polytechnic or related Institution. ND holders shall be admitted to the 200 level or study in a five year degree programme while HND holders shall be admitted to 300 level. In addition to the above, candidates must have five (5) SCCE/NECO/GCE ‘O’ level credit passes, including English Language, Mathematics/Further Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates (JAMB Brochure for Agricultural and Environmental Engineering)

To apply for Agricultural and Environmental Engineering as a Direct Entry candidate, you require. A’ level passes or equivalent in Physics and Mathematics.
