JAMB UTME Subject Combination

In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Crop, Soil And Pest Management under the Faculty of Agriculture in the institutions listed above are:

Chemistry, Biology/Agriculture and Mathematics or Physics.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) FUTA requires English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science.

O’Level Requirements for UTME Candidates

To apply for Crop, Soil And Pest Managementas a UTME candidate, you require: Five SSCE credit passes to include Chemistry, Biology/Agric Science Mathematics and one Science/Social Science subject and at least a pass in Physics.

Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates

To apply for Crop, Soil And Pest Management as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: Two ‘A’ level passes in Chemistry and Biology/Agric Science/Botany/Zoology or Physics/Mathematics/ Economics.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) FUTA admits candidates with any of the followings:
(a) OND with a minimum of upper credit from recognized Polytechnics or Colleges of Technology or the Nigerian Certificate in Education (NCE) or equivalent in relevant agriculture-based disciplines such as Agricultural Education and Crop Production Technology.
(b) GCE Advanced Level passes in Biology and any of the following subjects: Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.
