JAMB Brochure for Electronics Under Faculty of Sciences

This part of the JAMB brochure shows you the requirements to apply for Electronics under the Faculty of Sciences in Nigeria. You will see the UTME subject combination needed to apply for the course, O’level requirements for UTME candidates, requirements such A’level, ND, HND, NCE, etc for Direct Entry candidates, as well as other information you require to successfully apply for the course.

List of Degree Awarding Institutions that Offer Electronics

JAMB UTME Subject Combination

In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Electronics under the Faculty of Sciences in the institutions listed above are: Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry or Biology.

O’Level Requirements for UTME Candidates

To apply for Electronics as a UTME candidate, you require: Five SSCE credit passes in English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and any other Science subject from Further mathematics and Biology or Agricultural Science.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) WUSTO requires five ‘O’ level credit in English, Physics, Mathematics and any other 2 subjects preferably Chemistry, Further Mathematics, Geography and Biology in that order.

Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates

To apply for Electronics as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: NCE/Two ‘A’ level A’ level passes in Physics and Mathematics or Chemistry.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) BAYERO accept NCE (credit),ND/HND (lower credit) plus O/level credit passes in Physics, Mathematics and two other Science subjects. BAYERO accepts one other Science subject.

(ii) WUSTO does not accepts Chemistry in lieu of Mathematics
