O’Level Requirements for UTME Candidates (JAMB Brochure for Mathematics and Computer Science)

To apply for Mathematics and Computer Science as a UTME candidate, you require. Five SSCE credits in English Language, Mathematics and any three of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Further Maths, and Technical Drawing.

Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates (JAMB Brochure for Mathematics and Computer Science)

To apply for Mathematics and Computer Science as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: Two ‘A’ level passes in Maths and Physics

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i)FUAM accept NCE, ND/HND in relevant fields at credit level plus UTME requirements.

(ii) NDU accepts
(a) Higher School Certificate (HSC) in relevant two subjects to include Mathematics. Physics, Statistics, plus a pass in the third subject to include Chemistry or any other relevant science subject, may be admitted into the two (2) hundred level of the degree programmes.

(b) Holders of credit passes in ND in relevant areas of specialization (e.g. Computer Engineering) are eligible for direct entry to year two (2) of the programme.

c. Holders of NCE passes at merit level in Mathematics or Computer Science (as the case may be), Physics, Chemistry, Integrated Science or Economics are eligible for direct entry to year two (2) of the programmes.

d. Holders of HND at least credit level passes in Mathematics or Computer Science are eligible for direct entry to year three (3) of the programme.
