JAMB Subject Combination for Physics and Astrology
In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Physics / Astrology under the Faculty of Sciences in the institutions listed above are: Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry or Biology.
O’Level Requirements for UTME Candidates (JAMB Brochure for Physics and Astrology)
To apply for Physics and Astrology as a UTME candidate, you require: Five SSCE credit passes in English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and any other Science subject from Further mathematics and Biology or Agricultural Science.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks (JAMB Brochure for Physics and Astrology)
(i) UNN accepts five ‘O’ level Credit passes in Physics, Mathematics and English Language as well as two (2) other credit passes from Agricultural Science. Chemistry, Biology, further mathematics, statistics, Technical drawing and Geography at SSCE/GCE/NECO or its equivalent.
Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates (JAMB Brochure for Physics and Astrology)
To apply for Physics and Astrology as a Direct Entry candidate, you require. NCE/Two ‘A’ level A’ level passes in Physics and Mathematics or Chemistry.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks (JAMB Brochure for Physics and Astrology)
(i) UNN accepts:
(a) NCE Physics or ND or HND in Physics or Engineering.
(b) Two A’ level passes in physics and Mathematics plus UTME requirements in both cases.
