JAMB Subject Combination for Bio-medical Technology
In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Bio-medical Technology under the Faculty of Medical, Pharmaceutical and Health Sciences in the institutions listed above are: Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
O’Level Requirements for UTME Candidates (JAMB Brochure for Bio-medical Technology)
To apply for Bio-medical Technology as a UTME candidate, you require: Five SSCE credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates (JAMB Brochure for Bio-medical Technology)
To apply for Bio-medical Technology as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: Two ‘A’ level passes in Chemistry and any one of Physics, Biology/Zoology/Botany and Maths.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks (JAMB Brochure for Bio-medical Technology)
(i) FUTO requires at least ‘A’ level passes not below Grade C in Physics and any two of Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. It also accepts ND/HND (Upper Credit) in Bio-medical Technology, Bio-medical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical / Electronic Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Candidates must in addition meet UTME ‘O’ Level requirements. It does not accept First Degree or NCE.
