O’Level Requirements for UTME Candidates (JAMB Brochure for Biotechnology)

To apply for Biotechnology as a UTME candidate, you require: Five SSCE credit passes to include Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English Language and any other Science subject

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) BELLS requires five SSCE Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics/ Agricultural Science/ Geography or Economics/ Food and Nutrition. May consider a pass in Physics at O’ level.

Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates

To apply for Biotechnology as a Direct Entry candidate, you require:
(i)‘A’ level passes in two of Physics Chemistry, and Mathematics.
(ii) ND/HND (upper credit) in relevant fields.

(i) BELLS accepts
(a) Two A’ level passes in Chemistry/Physics/Biology/ Mathematics.
(b) ND/HND/approved IJMB in relevant fields.
