In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Environmental Science under the Faculty of Arts and Humanities in the institutions listed above are:
Fine Art and two other Arts subjects or Social Science subject.
O’Level Requirements for UTME Candidates
To apply for Environmental Science as a UTME candidate, you require: Five SSCE credit passes to include English Language and Fine Art.
For holders of NTC, the relevant subjects could be General Wood work, Building/Engineering Drawing, Introduction to Building Construction; Decorative Painting; Spray Painting, Linig, Sign and Design; Wall hanging, Colour Mixing/Matching and Glazing; Printing Origination; Machine Printing and Finishing; General Metal Work, Basic Electricity, Spinning, Weaving, Surface Design and Printing; Bleaching, Dyeing and Finishing; Graphic Design; Graphic
For holders of NTC, the relevant subjects could be General Wood work, Building/Engineering Drawing, Introduction to Building Construction; Decorative Painting; Spray Painting, Linig,Sign and Design; Wall hanging, Colour Mixing/Matching and Glazing; Printing Origination; Machine Printing and Finishing; General Metal Work, Basic Electricity, Spinning, Weaving, Surface Design and Printing; Bleaching, Dyeing and Finishing; Graphic Design; Graphic Printing and Ceramics.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) ABSU accepts a pass in English Language provided Fine Art is not below A3
(ii) ABSU requires credit in Mathematics and any three subjects from Arts Social Science and Sciences
Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates
To apply for Environmental Science as a Direct Entry candidate, you require:
(i) Two ‘A’ level passes in Art or Fine Art and any other subject.
(ii) ND (Upper Credit) HND (Lower credit) from recognised institutions.
