In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Information Science And Media Studies under the Faculty of Sciences in the institutions listed above are: Mathematics, Physics and one of Biology, Chemistry, Agric Science, Economics and Geography
O’Level Requirements for UTME Candidates (JAMB Brochure for Information Science And Media Studies)
To apply for Information Science And Media Studies as a UTME candidate, you require: Five SSCE credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Physics plus two other science subjects
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks (JAMB Brochure for Information Science And Media Studies)
(i) BAYERO accepts only Science subjects in Computer Science, does not accept Economics.
Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates (JAMB Brochure for Information Science And Media Studies)
To apply for Information Science And Media Studies as a Direct Entry candidate, you require:
(i) Two A/L passes in science subjects including Mathematics
(ii) NCE with at least Merit in Mathematics and one other Science or Social Science subject.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) BAYERO accepts:
(a) National Diploma in Computer Science or Computer Studies, NCE in Computer Science or Electrical/Electronics.
(b) HND (in relevant fields-Computer Science, Graphics, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical/Electronics).
(c) B.Sc Degree (Natural Science, Physical Science, and Environmental Science).
