JAMB UTME Subject Combination

In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Information Technology under the Faculty of Engineering, Environment and Technology in the institutions listed above are:

Maths, Economics and any one of Account, Commerce and Government

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) BAUCHI requires Mathematics, Economics and any of Chemistry, Physics or Biology.

O’Level Requirements for UTME Candidates

To apply for Information Technology as a UTME candidate, you require: Five SSCE credit passes including English Language, Economics and Mathematics

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) BAUCHI five O’ level credit passes in Mathematics, English Language, Any of Commerce, Economics, Business Method, Home Economics and any two of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, Agricultural Science and Health Science.

Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates

To apply for Information Technology as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: A’ Level passes/ND and HND in relevant fields into 200 and 300 levels

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

a) two ‘A’ level passes in any of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Agric. Science.
b) ND and HND (Preferably at Upper Credit) in relevant fields into 200 level.
