Borno State Scholarship Form Application Portal 2024. This is to inform all Borno State indigenes across the country that the Borno state scholarship portal is now open for students to apply for Scholarship program with the following criteria.

Criteria for Borno State Scholarship
- Applicants must be Borno state indigenes.
- Applicants must be undergraduate students in their first year of study i.e. (100 level) in any Nigerian University.
- The award is open to all courses of study.
- Applicants must write their email address and phone number correctly.
About Borno State Scholarship Board
The Borno State Scholarship Board is the board responsible for conducting interview for students for scholarship awards. They are also responsible for disbursing allowances to all eligible Borno-born candidates who gain admission into institutions of higher learning. And this covers institutions in the country and overseas as foreign sponsorship or allowances.
Eligible Candidates for Borno State Scholarship
So for candidates to qualify to apply for Borno State Scholarship, they must be
- indignes of Borno state.
- undergraduate students in any University in Nigeria.
- ND or HND students in any Polytechnic in Nigeria.
- NCE students in any College of Education in Nigeria.
- Borno State indigenes intending to study abroad.
Application Guidelines for Borno State Scholarship
If you are eligible to apply for Borno State scholarship award, follow the guideline below to complete your application.
1.. Log on to the Borno state scholarship application Portal: https://bssb.scholarship.bo.gov.ng/
2. Create an account using a valid email address.
3. As soon as you create an account, you will receive a confirmation link in your email. Click on the confirm email button. This will redirect you to the login page.
4. Log in again using your email address and password so as to have access to the application form.
5. The application is in stages. Complete every stage by providing the necessary information. Click SAVE and NEXT to complete the preceding stage.
6. More so, the first stage requires that you upload a passport photograph and save. Do ensure that you fill all the necessary fields, save and click on next. Then the portal will require that you provide your academic details.
7. Provide details of academic institutions attended with qualifications. Then save and click Next.
8. Provide your SSCE result details, save and click Next.
9. So far so good. At this stage, the portal will redirect you to the document upload page. Therefore, you must ensure that your qualifying documents are available. Scan and upload them (admission letter, indigene certificate and SSCE results).
10. Now review your application. If everything is complete and okay, then click on the submit button. You can also download a copy of your application for record keeping purposes.
Other Important Information
For this scholarship application, it is very important to ensure that you provide accurate information. This is because your application will undergo a review process. So in order not to fail, ensure that you supply only accurate information
Furthermore, you are required to submit a copy of your application form alongside side photocopies of each of the following (SSCE Results, Admission Letter and Indigene Certificate) at the Borno state scholarship board.
