Biology/Agric Science., Chemistry and Mathematics/Physics.

O’Level Requirements for Animal Nutrition and Biotechnology for UTME Candidates

To apply for Animal Nutrition and Biotechnology as a UTME candidate, you require: Five SSCE credit passes in Agricultural Science/Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and any two other subjects and at least a pass in English Language and Physics.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks (JAMB Brochure for Animal Nutrition and Biotechnology)

(i) MAUTECH requires five credit to include Chemistry, Biology/Agric. Science, Physics / Mathematics Geography/ Economics, English Language

(ii) UNAAB requires:

a) Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.

b) At least a pass in Physics.

c) Candidates with pass grade in Biology must possess credit pass in Agricultural Science.It does not accept Agricultural Science in lieu of Biology.

(iii) LAUTECH accepts Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology/Agric Science, Physics and English Language.

Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates (JAMB Brochure for Animal Nutrition and Biotechnology)

To apply for Animal Nutrition and Biotechnology as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: Two ‘A’ level passes or equivalent in Chemistry and Biology or Agric Science.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks (JAMB Brochure for Animal Nutrition and Biotechnology)

(i) UNAAB accepts:

a) Two A’ level credit passes in Chemistry and one of Zoology/Botany/Agricultural Science/Biology, Mathematics or Physics.

b) ND/HND (Upper credit) in Agriculture from a recognized institution in any one of Animal Sciences. Animal Production and Health, Husbandry, Agric-Economics, Fisheries and Forestry and Wildlife Management plus UTME requirements.

c) NCE in Agricultural Science, Biology, Chemistry or Physics (credit) plus UTME requirements.

(ii) MAUTECH accept ND/HND with credit pass in Agriculture

(iii) LAUTECH requires ND with Upper Credit/HND/NCE at Credit Level in relevant subject. (Plus UTME requirement) may be considered for admission into 200 Level.
