In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry under the Faculty of Sciences in the institutions listed above are: Chemistry and two of Physics, Biology and Mathematics.

O’Level Requirements for UTME Candidates

To apply for Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry as a UTME candidate, you require: Five SSCE credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) IMSU accepts a pass in English Language under exceptional circumstances.

Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates

To apply for Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry as a Direct Entry candidate, you require:
(i) Two ‘A’ level passes in Chemistry and any one of Physics, Mathematics or Biology.
(ii) ND/NCE with good grades in relevant ‘O’ level subjects.
