JAMB UTME Subject Combination

In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Computer Sciences and Information Technology under the Faculty of Sciences in the institutions listed above are: Mathematics, Physics and one of Biology, Chemistry, Agric Science, Economics and Geography

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) BABCOCK require Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.

O’Level Requirements for UTME Candidates

To apply for Computer Sciences and Information Technology as a UTME candidate, you require: Five SSCE credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Physics plus two other science subjects

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) CRUTECH accept Maths, Physics plus Chemistry or Statistics/Economics/Geography/Biology

(ii) IGBINEDION require five O’ level credit pass to include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and one other Science subject.

Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates

To apply for Computer Sciences and Information Technology as a Direct Entry candidate, you require:
(i) Two A/L passes in science subjects including Mathematics

(ii) NCE with at least Merit in Mathematics and one other Science or Social Science subject.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) IGBINEDION accepts ND in Computer Science or other Mathematics based course.

(ii) CRUTECH require credit pass in Physics as the fifth subject and NCE/ND/HND must be in Computer Science.
