do I need to sit for jamb before I can gain admissions
Yes, after obtaining SSCE, you need to sit for JAMB before you can gain admission in Nigeria via the UTME mode.
However, you can choose to take advanced level programs like Cambridge GCE, JUPEB, SON, etc, and use the certificate to apply for direct entry admission, In this case, you won’t need to sit for JAMB UTME as we know it.

Good morning uncle Devine, my children have been using your sure success to gain admission into UNN since 2018 and it’s been success story all through. Please do help with this challenge; my daughter is awaiting admission into UNN, she was not lucky to be on the primary list, however, someone promised me she will be on subsequent list, please can she buy the shopping form while awaiting admission. Will buying shopping form jeopardize the promised help?…… Ofili Ben
Normally, the school advises those who missed admission in the merit list to buy the shopping form into any of the advertised courses. If someone promised to assist with supplementary admission, buying the shopping form is not supposed to negatively affect anything. Actually, that’s one of the reasons why some candidates have double admission in the supplementary lists – one via the ‘help’ and the other via shopping.
Do bear in mind that the shopping form is compulsory for anyone admitted in any supp admission list. So even if you don’t buy the shopping form now, you will still pay for shopping if your daughter eventually gains admission in the supp list through someone’s help.
Finally, it is advisable to work closely with the person who promised to help. Ask him or her if you need to shop in addition to what s/he is working for you.

Medicine is a 6-year programme if you enter through UTME but through Direct entry, it’s a 5-year programme.

No, you must not write JAMB UTME before you study Nursing. Another route is to go in through School of Nursing.

I have a profile code before and then that I have made some corrections of name in my National identity so after that I sent the profile code sent me without the newly name that have been corrected on the national identity so please how am I due now as a result of urgent before the closing of data of UTME

I don’t think I fully understand your question. But if you made corrections of name and it has not reflected on your JAMB profile. Give it a little more time and continue to track it. UTME registration deadline is still about 4 weeks away.

Following the guidelines in the posts above, you can reach out to JAMB to effect your desired changes. Do bear in mind that JAMB would prefer you to retrieve your old phone number from your network provider if you lost it. So you can welcome back your old SIM card instead of trying to change your phone number on JAMB portal.

All candidates who indicated interest in writing the MOCK UTME would sit for the exam on the same date i.e. 7th March 2024. Printing of slip for center and time would be enabled from the 4th of March, 2024.
