In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Animal Science and Technology under the Faculty of Agriculture in the institutions listed above are:
Chemistry, Biology/Agriculture and Mathematics/Physics.

O’Level Requirements for UTME Candidates

To apply for Animal Science and Technology as a UTME candidate, you require: FUTO With options in:

(i) Diary and Meat Science

(ii) Animal Genetics and Breeding

(iii) Animal Production and Management

(iv) Animal Nutrition and Biochemistry

Five SSCE credit passes in English Language, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology/Agric Science and one of Physics, Geography or Economics.

Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates

To apply for Animal Science and Technology as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: Two ‘A’ level passes or equivalent in Chemistry and one of Biology/Botany/Zoology/Agric Science/Geography/Geology/Mathematics/ Economics.
