JAMB Subject Combination for Christian Religious Studies – CRS

In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Christian Religious Knowledge / Studies under the Faculty of Arts and Humanities in the institutions listed above are: Two Arts subjects including Christian Religious Knowledge and any other subject.

O’Level Requirements for Christian Religious Studies (CRS) for UTME Candidates

To apply for Christian Religious Knowledge / Studies as a UTME candidate, you require: Five SSCE credit passes in English Language, CRK and three other relevant subjects.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks (JAMB Brochure for Christian Religious Studies – CRS)

(i) LASU requires Five ‘O’ Level credit passes including English Language.

(ii) KASU accepts only subjects from Arts or Social Science.

(iii) EKSU requires only Arts subjects.

(iv) TASU accepts a pass in Mathematics.

Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates (JAMB Brochure for Christian Religious Studies – CRS)

To apply for Christian Religious Knowledge / Studies as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: Two ‘A’ level passes/NCE to include Christian Religious Studies/Religious Studies.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks (JAMB Brochure for Christian Religious Studies – CRS)

(i) LASU and OOU also require fulfillment of UTME requirements.

(ii) LASU accepts:

(a) two Advanced Level Passes, including Bible/Christian Religious Knowledge or Religious Studies at not more than two sittings, plus five ‘O’ Level credit passes at GCE Ordinary Level or its equivalent, which must include English Language at not more than two sittings.

(b) NCE with at least Merit Passes in CRS and five (5) credit passes in other relevant subject including English Language.

(iii) NSUK accepts NCE CRS not below Merit.

(iv) UNIABUJA accepts a minimum of 10 points in NCE or Upper credit in National Diploma in addition to ‘O’ Level requirements.
