JAMB Brochure for Human Resources Management Under Faculty of Social and Management Sciences

This part of the JAMB brochure shows you the requirements to apply for Human Resources Management under the Faculty of Social and Management Sciences in Nigeria. You will see the UTME subject combination needed to apply for the course, O’level requirements for UTME candidates, requirements such A’level, ND, HND, NCE, etc for Direct Entry candidates, as well as other information you require to successfully apply for the course.

  • Redeemer’s University
  • Western Delta University

JAMB UTME Subject Combination

In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study Human Resources Management under the Faculty of Social and Management Sciences in the institutions listed above are:

Economics, Mathematics and any of Government, History, Geography, Lit-in-English, French and CRK/IRK

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) WESTERN-DEL requires three Social Science or Arts subject.

O’Level Requirements for UTME Candidates

To apply for Human Resources Management as a UTME candidate, you require: Five SSCE credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any two of Arts or Social Science subjects.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) WESTERN-DEL (for Business Administration) requires five SSCE credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Economics or Accounts, one other Social Science subject and any one other subject of choice

Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates

To apply for Human Resources Management as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: Economics, Government and any other relevant subjects

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) WESTERN-DEL WESTERN-DEL accepts (For Accounting)
a) Two ‘A’ Level passes including Economics and one other subject.
b) NCE with at least merit passes in relevant subjects.
c) National Diploma with at least lower credit passes in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Business Administration. Intermediate passes in ICAN, ACCA, ICMA and CIBN examinations
