For the newly admitted students (both through the UTME and DE mode), I’m going to show you how to get the UNN ADMISSION NOTIFICATION SLIP today. You need this information as you prepare to go for your physical clearance with your faculty officer. Sp the aim of today’s tutorial is to educate freshers who may not know what the Admission Notification Slip is and how to get it.

What is an Admission Notification Slip?

An Admission Notification Slip is an official document that a university issues to applicants to inform them that they have been successfully admitted to a particular course or program.

Details Contained in Admission Notification Slips

The Admission Notification Slip contains important student’s details, including:

1. Personal Information: This includes the name, JAMB registration number, and other personal details of the admitted student.
2. Course Details: The specific course or program into which the student has been admitted, the faculty, mode of entry and student type.
3. Institution Information: The name, address and contact details of the school, just in case there is need for inquiries or support.
4. Important Dates: Date of admission, admission session,  is officially confirmed.
5. Next Steps: Instructions on further actions required from the student, such as fee payment, physical clearance, orientation and matriculation schedules.

How to get the UNN Admission Notification Slip

To get your UNN Admission Notification Slip, you can use any of the following methods.

1. Go to UNN Portal and create your profile.
2. Log into your UNN Student portal/profile and VERIFY your account.
3. After account verification, click on ADMISSIONS. Then CONFIRM ADMISSION. Fill in all your necessary details and submit.
4. The portal would ask you if you want to GENERATE or Print out your notification slip. Just generate & print it out.
5. That’s your UNN ADMISSION NOTIFICATION SLIP.
