It is with unreserved gratitude to the Almighty God that I write to share my admission testimony. My intention is to inspire, encourage and advice all candidates who are still struggling to secure a space in this prestigious citadel of learning, the University of Nigeria.
I finished my Secondary Education in 2008 and since then, I have been struggling to secure a seat in an Ivory Tower until I met the Sure Success Project through their website and Facebook forum. I wanted to study Law, not necessarily because I love the course (though I use to deceive myself that I love it), but because of the big name it bears. I chased this white elephant for a long time until I realized what I was actually born to do in life.
I wrote JAMB in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011, scoring 251, 244, 223 and 233 respectively but was never able to gain admission to study Law. In 2012, I decided to be smarter. I chose Law again as my course of choice in JAMB UTME exam with the intention of switching to a less competitive course that could still enable me to achieve my dreams if I fail to score up to 250 in JAMB. I finally scored 221 in my 2012 JAMB UTME exam and immediately did Change of Course to Social Work: a course which its researches are often focused on areas such as human development, social policy, public administration, psychotherapy, program evaluation, and international and community development.

I also started searching for those materials that will enable me to come through in flying colours in my post-UTME screening exam; that was when I discovered the website, suresuccess.ng and the UNN post-UTME Preparatory Handbook, SURE SUCCESS. I bought a copy of the book and used it to prepare gallantly for my Post UTME Screening exam. Surprisingly, and amidst the massive failure in the 2012 UNN P-UTME, I scored 230 and was subsequently admitted on merit to study Social Work.
MY ADVICE AND ENCOURAGEMENT
I advise all JAMB candidates, especially UNN prospective students, to remain focused and undeterred in their quest to secure admission. Do your best to procure and make very good use of the SURE SUCCESS UNN Post UME Booklet; for with that book, your admission success is really sure.
I also wish to use this medium to advice all up-coming university admission seekers (even beyond 2013), who are aspiring to study any professional or very competitive course with flimsy or no reasons, to please have a re-think and go for less competitive courses. Go for a course you may readily get given your academic capabilities; a course that suits who you are and the very reason for your existence. For instance, if you are aspiring to study Medicine & Surgery or Pharmacy and are not able to score at least 220 in your JAMB UTME exam, I wonder the kind of magic you would do to score at least 350 in your UNN PUTME to be admitted on merit into Medicine & Surgery or Pharmacy as the case may be.
I sincerely hope that this admission testimony and pieces of advice will be of tremendous benefit to you. Once again, I thank the Almighty God for the Success given to me. I also thank the man that God used to guide me on my road to success, Henry Divine. God bless you.
